New addition to the US Med-Equip Family!

Jose Albarran, with US MED-EQUIP, is a new father. His son was born a few weeks ago and was premature. As a result, he was kept in an incubator at a Houston hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit or NICU. Imagine Jose and his wife’s surprise when they found that the incubator, in which their new son was nestled, was the same one that Jose had just finished cleaning and checking a few days earlier.

Young Luis Gabriel Albarran was born on July 22, 2008 in a Houston area hospital in Northwest Houston at 4:35 pm. Since he was a few weeks premature and underweight (4.1 lbs.), the doctors decided to keep him in an incubator for a few weeks. He was released from the hospital, and the incubator, on August 1, 2008.
At US MED-EQUIP we have had a long tradition of taking care of the equipment as if were to be used by our own family. Recently, that scenario came true. Jose was happy and relieved that the Airshield Isolette was one of our own units and that he had been personally involved in its care and preparation.
