USME Continues its Mission and Commitment to Provide High-Quality Services and Customer Service During the COVID-19: Coronavirus Outbreak

USME is committed to providing the same high-quality services and customer service to our hospital partners during the COVID-19/Coronavirus Outbreak. As a true partner, USME has implemented the following additional preventative measures and procedures to protect our hospital partners’ patients and employees:

  • USME remains open 24/7, 365 days a year for medical equipment rentals, with a continued effort to deliver rental equipment within 2-hours (plus drive time) within our service area.
  • USME’s Biomedical Repair Depot has been open daily to service, repair, clean, and perform preventative maintenance for our hospital partners equipment.
  • All USME employees are required to wear masks and gloves when entering any hospital/medical facility for equipment delivery or pick-up.
  • When possible, USME is requesting that hospitals/medical facilities allow USME employees to pick-up and deliver equipment at the dock to minimize exposure to both parties.
  • When picking up equipment from hospitals/medical facilities, USME employees are instructed to wipe down equipment with approved alcohol wipes before loading equipment in the vehicle, and again before entry to a USME location.
  • All Business Development Representatives have been communicating with our hospital partners via phone, email, and video chat in order to follow social distancing guidelines and hospital partner procedures.
  • USME instituted a self-temperature check upon entry at USME locations. Employees who exhibit a fever must return home and contact their supervisor immediately.
  • If working in a department where social distancing is difficult, all USME employees are required to wear protective masks and wipe down their work stations regularly.
  • To protect our USME families, USME has distributed detailed instructions to all employees on how to protect their families upon returning home after a shift.
  • USME has allowed all non-essential employees (Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing, etc.) to work from home in order minimize risk to essential workers on-site.

USME stands in unity with our hospital partners to help them deliver the highest quality care to their patients during this difficult time.

Thank you,

US Med-Equip (USME)
