The Hospira Plum 360 is a patient-ready infusion pump available for rent and sale from US Med-Equip.

The ICU Medical Hospira Plum 360 infusion pump was designed with safety and efficiency in mind. The Plum 360 features a unique closed air management system that allows for automated back-priming to easily remove air from the line without disconnecting from the patient. This large volume IV pump allows a secondary line that connects directly to the cassette. The Plum pump will alert you if the secondary line is not infusing. It has a lot of features that are designed to help you enhance patient safety and increase clinical efficiency.

The Plum 360 can act as a standalone infuser or in conjunction with ICU Medical MedNet software to provide medication safety software at the point of care, with customized drug libraries to support hospital defined protocols by clinical care areas. The Plump pump can communicate with systems on the network via Ethernet or wireless communication using an 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band radio. The Plum 360 infuser is fully compatible with Plum Series administration sets and accessories, and the CLAVE needleless connection systems, providing a convenient and cost-effective infusion system.

The Plum 360 infusion system is primarily used in parenteral, enteral, and epidural therapies and the administration of whole blood and blood products. It’s used in clinical environments at the direction of licensed physicians or certified healthcare professionals.
