ResMed AirCurve™ 10 bilevel machines include two pressure level settings: a higher pressure when inhaling, and a lower pressure that makes it easier to exhale. It allows exhalation pressure to be set as low as 4 cm H2O for enhanced breathing comfort, regardless of how high the inhalation pressure is set. This can be helpful if a higher pressure is required to treat sleep apnea.
The built-in humidifier and Climate Control’s enhanced Auto setting provide optimal breathing comfort.
User-friendly controls and an intuitive interface make it simple to navigate settings and nightly sleep report.
Available models:
- The AirCurve 10 ST-A can provide both spontaneous support and timed support in addition to alarms for patient safety.
- The AirCurve 10 S-CO is primarily designed for managing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), with spontaneous breath support and settings to help manage hypercapnia (high CO₂ levels) and improve ventilation.
- The AirCurve 10 Auto is designed for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) or those who require additional ventilatory support, with an “auto” feature that automatically adjusts the inspiratory positive airway pressure (IPAP) and expiratory positive airway pressure (EPAP) based on the patient’s breathing patterns.
