(HOUSTON) – Healthcare improvement company Premier has awarded US Med-Equip (USME), the nation’s leading provider of rented medical equipment, a three-year contract as part of the company’s AscenDrive purchasing program.

US Med-Equip partners with top hospitals and other healthcare facilities nationwide for the rental, sale, repair and asset management of movable medical equipment. This move will help streamline movable medical equipment rentals for member organizations.

The AscenDrive program identifies and implements supply chain performance opportunities for participating facilities among Premier’s alliance of more than 4,400 U.S. hospitals and health systems. This contract awards AscenDrive collaborative members 24/7 on-demand access to USME’s life-saving devices, biomedical expertise and industry-leading technology.
